CITY OF NEW HOLSTEIN SPECIAL COMMON COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES Tuesday, August 5, 2025 5:00 PM City Hall, 2110 Washington St. The special meeting of the Common Council was called to order by Mayor Snelson, presiding. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Council members Abrams, Propson, Hess, Oakley, Woelfel, Watson were present at roll call. Diane Rowe from MSA was also present via Teams. A motion was made by Propson, seconded by Watson, and carried to approve the agenda. a. A motion was made by Hess, seconded by Abrams, and carried to approve increasing MSA an additional 10 hours for recruitment at the same rate. b. A motion was made by Woelfel, seconded by Propson, and carried to adjourn into Closed Session pursuant to Wis. Stats Sec. 19.85 (1)(c) for the purpose of considering the employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility. - City Administrator, Clerk, and Treasurer position. c. A motion was made by Abrams, seconded by Hess, and carried to adjourn the closed session and to reconvene in open session. d. No Action was taken coming out of closed session. Snelson recessed the meeting at 6:00PM for Woelfel to begin the COW meeting. Snelson reconvened the Special Council Meeting at 6:30PM e. A motion was made by Propson, seconded by Hess, and carried to adjourn into Closed Session pursuant to Wis.
