Special Budget Meeting — Minutes

Special Budget Meeting – November 5, 2025 Chairman, Shane Peik called the public hearing to order at 7:00PM on the proposed budget. After some discussion the public hearing was closed and the special town meeting of the electors continued on the proposed budget. No additional town electors were present so the members of the town board stepped down to vote as electors on the 2025 town tax levy. All 4 voted to approve the 2025 Municipal Levy Limit of $225,369. Don Bonlander made a motion to close the meeting of electors at 7:15PM and open the meeting of the town board. After voting on the 2025 levy limit the meeting continued with the special town board meeting to discuss and adopt the proposed 2026 budget. Travis Kurscheidt made a motion that was second by Don Bonlander to add a $20,000 designation to the machinery fund and then approve the proposed 2026 budget, including the tax levy of $225,369. Motion Carried. Travis Kurscheidt made a motion that was second by Don Bonlander to adjourn at 7:45PM. Motion carried. Kim Mueller Town Clerk
