Monthly Meeting — Agenda

Monthly Meeting –August 13, 2025 Shane Peik called the monthly meeting to order at 7PM. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Travis Kurscheidt made a motion that was second by Don Bonlander to approve the previous meeting minutes as read. Motion Carried. Don Bonlander made a motion that was second by Travis Kurscheidt to approve and pay all bills presented to the town board. Motion carried. Don Bonlander made a motion that was second by Travis Kurscheidt to approve Ordinance 25-01 to reduce the speed limit to 45mph on Short Rd from the town line to Irish Rd. Motion Carried. Don Bonlander made a motion that was second by Travis Kurscheidt to not accept the Jewell Associates bid. Motion Carried. Don Bonlander made a motion that was second by Travis Kurscheidt to submit the disbursement request to the BCPL for $200k from the previously approved loan. Motion Carried. Don Bonlander made a motion that was second by Travis Kurscheidt to approve the quote from Casey’s Tree Service for $900 for cutting and grinding of a tree at the Hayton Hillside Cemetery. Motion Carried. The next monthly meeting was scheduled for September 10 at 7PM Don Bonlander made a motion that was second by Travis Kurscheidt to adjourn at 8:10PM. Motion carried.
