TOWN OF NEW HOLSTEIN Town Hall 6:30 PM July 10, 2024 The regular monthly meeting for the Town of New Holstein was called to order at 6:30 pm by Chairman, Ben Henke. Members present: Chairman Ben Henke, Supervisor Dean Konen, Supervisor Len Heimerman, Treasurer Mary Jo Muellenbach, Clerk Samantha Muellenbach Residents present: Doug Franzen Non-Residents Present: Jon Ausloos, representing St Anna Sportsman. All recited the pledge of Allegiance. Clerk Muellenbach noted the meeting was properly posted according to WI State Statue. A motion to accept the agenda was made by Supervisor Konen, seconded by Supervisor Heimerman, motion carried. A motion to accept the June 2024 monthly minutes as read was made by Chairman Henke seconded by Supervisor Heimerman, motion carried. Public Comments: St Ann Sportsman’s Temporary Liquor License. A motion to approve treasurers’ report was made by Supervisor Konen, seconded by Chairman Henke, motion carried. A motion to accept the bills for payment was made by Supervisor Konen, seconded by Chairman Henke, motion carried. A motion to approve adding a 90 day expiration date to driveway/culvert permits was made by Supervisor Konen, seconded by Supervisor Heimerman, motion carried. Discussed Salt Shed Project, tabling until August 2024 meeting. Discussed getting estimates to maintain equipment. Discussed removal of stump removals in the right a way. Tabeling tree trimming until the August 2024 meeting. A motion to amend Ordinance 2024-3 for the November 2024 elections was made by Supervisor Heimerman, seconded by Chairman Henke, motion carried. Discussed the Calumet County Comprehensive Plan update project. Discussed the Certified Survey Map from Calumet County Discussed Public Hearing Notice from Calumet County Minutes are draft copy until approved at the next board meeting Posted at: W1465 Tecumseh Road, New Holstein; and on the web at: www.townofnewholstein.com A motion was made to not exceed the base price of $5500.00 for contract to conduct an inspection for asbestos by Supervisor Konen, seconded by Chairman Henke, motion carried. Discussed correspondence received. A motion to adjourn was made at 8:18 pm by Chairman Henke, seconded by Supervisor Konen, motion carried.
