TOWN OF NEW HOLSTEIN Town Hall 6:30 PM April 10, 2024 The regular monthly meeting for the Town of New Holstein was called to order at 6:30 pm by Chairman, Ben Henke. Members present: Chairman Ben Henke, Supervisor Dean Konen, Supervisor Len Heimerman, Treasurer Mary Jo Muellenbach, Clerk Lynn Pendleton, Deputy Clerk Samantha Muellenbach Residents present: Doug Franzen and Mary Franzen. All recited the pledge of Allegiance. Clerk Pendleton noted the meeting was properly posted according to WI State Statue. A motion to accept the agenda was made by Supervisor Konen, seconded by Chairman Henke, motion carried. A motion to accept the March 2024 monthly minutes as read was made by Supervisor Heimerman, seconded by Chairman Henke, motion carried. Public Comments: none A motion to approve treasurers’ report was made by Chairman Henke, seconded by Supervisor Konen, motion carried. A motion to approve year end settlement of town books was made by Supervisor Heimerman, seconded by Supervisor Konen, motion carried. A motion to accept the bills for payment was made by Chairman Henke, seconded by Supervisor Heimerman, motion carried. Discussed changing the town cell phone number to the land line number and moving the current cell number to the new clerk number. A motion was made to join TAC by Chairman Henke, seconded by Supervisor Konen, motion carried. A motion was made to place an ad in the local paper asking for bids for LRIP by Chairman Henke, seconded by Supervisor Heimerman, motion carried. A motion to accept the resignation of Clerk Lynn Pendleton effective April 30, 2024 was made by Chairman Henke, seconded by Supervisor Konen, motion carried. Review of changes needed for the Employee Handbook were read by Chairman Henke. Balance of the Salt order was placed. Cancelled reserve due to not having enough storage room. Tabling further discussion until the May 2024 meeting. Discussed letters to residents for violation of town snow ordinance to be sent out. Discussed correspondence received. A motion to adjourn was made at 7:57 pm by Chairman Henke, seconded by Supervisor Konen, motion carried.
