Veterans Memorial Meeting — Minutes

Town of Three Lakes Veteran’s Memorial Committee Ad-Hoc Sub Committee of Plan Commission Regular Meeting Minutes June 22nd 2026 4:00 p.m. Three Lakes Municipal Building 6965 West School St. 1. Call to order and pledge. Meeting called to order by Rich at 4 p.m. followed by pledge 2. Report on agenda posting for June 22nd 2026. Kelly reported the agenda was posted in accordance with WI Open Meeting Law 3. Agenda approval for June 22nd 2026 Motion by Sue second by Rick to approve the agenda as posted, all in favor. 4. Approve June 15th 2026 regular meeting minutes Motion by Sue second by Kelly to approve June 15th minutes as written. All in favor. 5. Honoring Pat Volk We had a moment of silence for our Chair Pat Volk who recently passed away. 6. Review to do checklist. Went over checklist once again to ensure we have all in order. Had walk-through with Roger Brisk on placement of sound system, introduction of committee, guests, etc. 7. Discuss to finalize program and unveiling updates. Honor Guard, legion member attendance. Reviewed program, discussed setup, chair and bleacher location. 8. Any updates on VM site MK will be adding more mulch. 9. Public Comments Jeff Boehm suggested adding some detail on how to get name placed on memorial and though mistakes may have been made we will do our best to satisfy all issues. Kevin Meyer briefly discussed his presentation regarding his father. Ashton Boehm was present to provide some detail on his presentation. 10. Adjourn Motion to adjourn by JR., second by David, at 4:47 pm. all in favor.
