Town of Three Lakes Veteran’s Memorial Committee Ad-Hoc Sub Committee of Plan Commission Regular Meeting Minutes May 4th 2026 4:00 p.m. Three Lakes Municipal Building 6965 West School St. 1. Call to order and pledge. Meeting called to order at 4 .00 pm, followed by the pledge 2. Report on agenda posting for May 4th 2026. Kelly reported the agenda was posted in accordance with WI Open Meeting Law 3. Agenda approval for May 4th 2026 Motion by Sue, second by David to approve the agenda as posted. A ll in favor 4. Approve April 20th 2026 regular meeting minutes Motion by Sue second Linnea to approve the minutes as written. All in favor 5. Discuss program with Roger Brisk and Kevin Meyer Roger was in attendance and Kevin was not available. Discussed various aspects of the overall program and some of the sequence of events. Roger will donate $200.00 towards the VM unveiling. We will have a hydration station set up. Contact individuals to sing the National Anthem. Mike will confirm Honor Guard by next meeting and gentlemen who plays the bag pipes. Rep Swearingen has confirmed attendance. Pat will present our journey and the events that took place during the past four years. This may be added to the program for attendees reference. Need to confirm flyover and timing. Linnea mentioned the Community Foundation will have a full page for the 250 USA celebration and will get more details on its content. 6. Discuss official unveiling update. Motion by Sue second by Linnea to have 300 patriotic cookies made not to exceed $1000.00. All in favor. Motion by Rick second by David to approve the invitations with contact information added and refreshments removed from invitation. All in favor. Linnea's daughter will be present to speak. 7. Any updates on VM site Flagpoles have been installed. Landscaping has been started. Sue will followup with Josh to find out about Pitlik's return to do dirt work and when we might have sod placed. 8.
