7-29-26 Special Session City Council Mtg Minutes

July 29, 2026 A Special Session of the Common Council of the City of Eagle River was called to order at 5:00PM by Mayor Deb Brown. Roll Call: Dan Dumas, Kim Schaffer, and Vic Washelesky. Also in attendance: Robin Ginner, Becky Bolte and Tyler Salvinski Motion by Schaffer, 2nd by Washelesky to accept the resignation of Jerry Burkett as Alderperson of District 2, Ward 2, effective July 23, 2026. Carried on a roll call vote, all. Motion by Schaffer, 2nd by Dumas to approve appointment of Dan Grosskopf as Alderperson of District 2, Ward 2, effective with motion, July 30,2026. Carried on a roll call vote, all. Motion by Dumas, 2nd by Washelesky to allow Walkabout Apparel and Paddle to use the area to the west of the swimming area at Silver Lake Beach Park for product demonstration and Silver Lake access on July 31, 2026.
