DRAFT SUBJECT TO APPROVAL BY ELECTORS Special Town Meeting of the Electors Thursday September 10, 2026 6:00 pm Boulder Junction Community Center 5392 Park Street, Boulder Junction, WI 54512 SPECIAL TOWN MEETING OF THE ELECTORS MINUTES 1. CALL TO ORDER  This Special Meeting of the Electors was noticed according to State Statute 65.90. Published and posted as required by law, media notified. Chairman Dennis Reuss called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm and led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance. Also present were Supervisor Laura Bertch, Supervisor Dylan Schutt, Clerk/Treasurer Dan Driscoll, 18 electors and 2 guests. 2. CONSIDERATION OF VOTING METHOD 3. ELECTOR VOTE ON SURPLUS FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF 719,688.00 REMAINING FROM BROADBAND PROJECT a. RETURN FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF 719,688.00 WHEN BOND IS CALLED IN 2030 b. RETAIN FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF 719,688.00 FOR FUTURE CAPITAL PROJECTS  MOTION STEVE WEBER/SECOND DENNIS DUKE. Make a motion to retain the funds from the bond, reinvest the interest from the bond and invest both in an interest-bearing account until 2030 and in the meantime if the town has a need for funds for a capital project, during the budget process the town will bring the request to the voters. Town will use Baird to help determine the best vehicle for this. VOTE: MOTION UNANIMOUSLY CARRIED. 18 – yes and 0 – no. 4.
