Approved 22426 Special Town Board Meeting Tuesday February 3, 2026 3:00 pm Boulder Junction Community Center, Town OƯice 5392 Park Street, Boulder Junction, WI 54512 MINUTES 1) CALL TO ORDER/PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE  This Special Town Board Meeting was noticed according to WI State Statute 19.85. Chairman Reuss called the meeting to order at 3:13 pm and led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance. Also present were Supervisor Laura Bertch, Supervisor Dylan Schutt, Clerk/Treasurer Dan Driscoll and Trevor Greene of The Lakeland Times. 2) APPROVAL OF AGENDA/ORDER OF THE DAY(discussion and possible action)  MOTION BERTCH/SECOND SCHUTT. To approve agenda. VOTE: MOTION UNANIMOUSLY CARRIED. 3) NEW BUSINESS(discussion & possible action)  Discussion and possible action – Approve Resolution NO 2026 R 02 A Resolution Authorizing 2025 budget amendments. o MOTION REUSS/SECOND BERTCH. To approve Resolution No 2026 R 02 A Resolution Authorizing 2025 budget amendments. VOTE: MOTION UNANIMOUSLY CARRIED BY ROLL CALL VOTE. Reuss – yes, Bertch – yes, Schutt – yes.  Discussion and possible action – Motion to disallow notice of claim from Manitowish Waters Water Sports Alliance inc. o MOTION REUSS/SECOND BERTCH. Motion to disallow notice of claim for purposes of discussion.  Town was served with a notice of claim related to enhanced wake ordinance for shared lakes in Manitowish Waters. A notice of claim is not a lawsuit against the town. Claim notifies the town that a party may file suit against the town in the future.  Town was served with Notice of Claim on November 26, 2025 and has 120 days to disallow the claim or let the 120 days pass and the claim will be disallowed by statute. Disallowing claim before the 120 days would shorten the window to file suit.  Town of Manitowish Waters was also served and is not going to take any action on the notice of claim o Motion withdrawn by Chairman Reuss after discussion. Town will not take action at this time on Notice of Claim 4) Adjourn(discussion and possible action)  Chairman Reuss adjourned the meeting at 3:32 pm
