Minutes of Boulder Junction Park Board Meeting Tuesday,November 18, 2025 4pm Boulder Junction Community Center, Nordloff Room Call to Order/Pledge of Allegiance/Roll Call: Meeting called to order at 4pm by Laura Bertch (Chair) who led the Pledge of Allegiance. Roll Call/ Present: Laura Bertch, Steve Weber, , Richard Jenks,Pete Burditt, Royer, Not present Dennis Duke, Judy Tegtmeyer 2) Approval of Agenda / Order of the day: Motion/Weber, Second/Burditt Motion carried. 3) Citizens opportunity to address the committee about topics on or off the agenda. Guests: Randy Schultz via zoom/ observer. Cathy Royer, Friends of the Park, Dennis Reuss, Town chairman 4) Approval of Meeting Minutes 10/16/2025 Motion/Burditt, Second/Weber Motion carried 5) Review of most recent financial report: August 2025. No comments. 6) BJCF approximate balance as of 5/27/2025: $4,800, Maintenance fund 7) Old Business: (discussion and possible action) A. Town Park Dennis -Duke & Pete Burditt - updates 1. Grand Opening. Sometime before Memorial Day weekend 2.Park Board Celebration - deferred. No discussion 3. Disc golf report update: a. Additional baskets ordered b. Updated Stats. US Disc Golf / 25 golfers a week 4. Discussion and possible action - baseball diamond project.Bases pulled and Corey complete surfacing/conditioning. Will revisit in spring when herbicide will be applied. B. Winter Park Royer&Steve Weber/ questions and possible action 1. New vinyl sign for Winter Park entrance (Home of the Glide) Ordered 2. Green Bay Packers for grant for Glide. Declined 3. Discussion of completion of items previously detailed. Weber presented written breakdown presented to board members. 4. Status of warming hut remodel. Completed 5. New Benches. Will be using Lions benches 6. Media Day December 12th. 1-2pm Hot coffee. 7. Opening Day December 20th 8. Preparation for event. Coffee/ Hot chocolate- 10% discount provided by Lakewood. 9. Ice making schedule. Discussion. Weber to provide detailed schedule for three weeks including 14 volunteers. 10. Discussion and possible action for any of the above items. C. Nichols Beach Park- Dick Jenks & Judy Tegtmeyer - questions & discussions. 1. Updates: Volleyball net taken down and erosion issue handled. D. Friends of the Park updates or questions. 1. Refreshments for opening day: coffee, hot chocolate, popcorn 2. Evening January 10th, 2025. Discussion of broom ball game with possible baked potatoes provided by Lakewood. 8. Discuss and set date & possible location for next meeting-Tuesday, December 11th at 4pm. 9. Adjournment Royer F. Park vision statements. Laura, Steve, and Dennis Reuss to meet 1.
