Approved 112526 Special Town Board Meeting - Budget Workshop Wednesday October 22, 2025 2:00 P.M. Boulder Junction Community Center, Town Office 5392 Park Street, Boulder Junction, WI 54512 MINUTES 1) CALL TO ORDER/ PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE/ ROLL CALL  This Special Town Board Meeting and Budget Workshop was properly noticed according to WI State Statute 19.85. Chairman Reuss called the meeting to order and led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance. Also present were Supervisor Laura Bertch, Supervisor Dylan Schutt, Clerk/Treasurer Dan Driscoll and two guests. 2) APPROVAL OF AGENDA /ORDER OF THE DAY(discussion & possible action) A. MOTION REUSS/SECOND SCHUTT. To approve agenda. VOTE: MOTION UNANIMOUSLY CARRIED. 3) ITEMS NEEDING APPROVAL A. Approve August 2025 Financial Statement  MOTION REUSS/SECOND BERTCH. To approve August 2025 Financial Statement. VOTE: MOTION UNANIMOUSLY CARRIED. 4) OLD BUSINESS (discussion and possible action) A. Discussion and possible action - Budget work session to work on 2026 budget and worksheet  MOTION REUSS/SECOND BERTCH. To approve operating budget of $3,007,397.00 for 2026. VOTE: MOTION UNANIMOUSLY CARRIED. O Clerk Driscoll went through the 2026 operating budget line by line – summary below. Summary does not include broadband revenue or expense.  Revenue/Income  Property Taxes - $2,048,476.00  Other Taxes (RT/PPT) - $295,542.00  Intergovernmental Revenue: $561.079.00  Licenses and Permits: $9.950.00  Public Charges for Service: $41,850.00  Miscellaneous Revenue: $50,500.00  Expenditures  General Government: $251,739.00  Public Safety: $607,447.00  Public Works Transportation: $648,260.00  Public Works Sanitation: $143,148.00  Health and Human Services: $6,520.00  Culture, Recreation and Education: 182,440.00  Debt Service: $897,761.00  Other Expenditures: $5,000.00 B. Discussion and possible action – Proposal to switch to Nicolet Bank for town accounts  MOTION BERTCH/SECOND SCHUTT. To move town bank accounts from Associated Bank to Nicolet Bank. VOTE: MOTION UNANIMOUSLY CARRIED. 5) NEW BUSINESS (discussion and possible action) A. Discussion and possible action – Set date for Special Town Meeting of Electors and Budget Hearing  MOTION REUSS/SECOND BERTCH. To set Special Town Meeting of Electors and Budget Hearing for November 20, 2025 at 6:00 pm.
