Roll call was done. Present were Bill Spear, Steve Weber, Cherie Sanderson, Mary Jones, Wendi Neupert, and Anne Derber. Absent with Notice Steve Coon, Nathan Keisler and Dick Jenks, GUESTS: Jim Rosenberg2)APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA: at the Chair’s Discretion (discussion & possible action). MOTION/Weber SECOND/Derber MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.3)APPROVAL OF June 4, 2025, MEETING MINUTES (discussion & possible action). MOTION Weber SECOND/Derber MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.4)WELCOME GUESTS: Jim Rosenberg5)UNFINISHED BUSINESS:a) Monthly report on Committee Budget: No changes since June.b) Monthly Communities Reporting: Lumber Jack Village is open 9-6 daily and Saturday smores special include a charitable contribution. Winter Park parking has been improved and the Glide has been graded and graveled.c) Update on grants. Spear shared information on Wisconsin tax credits which include employee housing for specific situations.d) Update on task group for station property. MOTION by Weber SECOND Sanderson To recommend the Town Board authorize up to $50,000 in room tax dollars to progress on the design to develop cost estimates and services to help design and create marketing pieces for fund raising. MOTION CARRIEDe) Update on talent in the woods. No report.f) EDC page on Town website. Cherie and Mary will meet begin updates. 6)NEW BUSINESS: a) Business Update: Chris Hiller Heritage Square. Not able to attend but submitted an update. They have several interested parties in renting various spaces. The upstairs AIRBNB units should be available after Labor Day. 7) REQUEST FOR FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS: Continue a business update. Joyful Loon or brewery. 8) CONFIRM DATE, TIME AND LOCATION OF NEXT MEETING (discussion & possible action). No meeting in August Next scheduled meeting September 3, 2025.
