Land O’ Lakes Public Library Board of Trustees Minutes of August 12, 2026 1. Call to order: Meeting called to order by Bob Hughes at 9:02am 2. Establish that Proper Notice has been given a. meeting posted on August 10, 2026 3. Quorum established a. Roll call b. Trustees Present: Bob Hughes, Greg Wenzel, Mary Jo Zane, Donna Murray-Tiedge, Marcie Thorp, Bernie Heindl c. Absent Excused: Jone Davis d. Also in Attendance: Shelly Knaack 4. Approval of Secretary’s Minutes a. Motion by Greg Wenzel after correction of date, second by Bernie Heindl to approve the minutes of the meeting, motion carried 5. Treasurer’s Report a. Financial Report i. Motion by Greg Wenzel, second by Donna Murray-Tiedge, to approve the financial report, motion carried b. Check Authorization i. Motion by Bernie Heindl, second Mary Jo Zane, to approve the payment of bills, motion carried c. Town budget Update-discussed i. Programming recap i. – Aug 13-Afternoon Movie: You, Me & Tuscany; Aug. 17th-Brain Health with ADRC; Aug. 19th -AI program; Aug 22-Antique appraisals ii. –smaller programs are very successful this summer; lots of checked out items from Library of things ii. Mahjong every Tuesday at 1 PM, Lego Club (1st and 3rd Wed.), and Story Hour ( 1st and 3rd Tues) c. Shelly is attending Website workshop on Aug 24 d. NWLS Marketing update-share puzzles across the consortium 8.. Old Business: Discussion/Action a. Maintenance Report i. Gardening update ii.
