LAND O LAKES PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES Tuesday June 9, 2026. 4:00PM Land O’ Lakes Town Hall 4331 County Highway B, Land O’ Lakes, WI 54540 Meeting opened at 4:18PM. Quorum present, Pledge of Allegiance was said. Attendance: Karl Guenther, Dan Balog, Linda Prehn, Charlene Bukowiecki, and Barb Nehring via phone. Absent: Lynda Jesse Motion to approve the agenda. Barbara Nehring 1 st , Linda Prehn 2 nd . Motion carried. Motion to approve May 2026 Minutes. Charlene Bukowiecki 1 st , Linda Prehn 2 nd . Motion carried. Old Business : New topics: Town Clerk Lynn Jolin spoke to the committee regarding codification of the Town of Land O’ Lake’s ordinances. The committee discussed the need for an easier way to reference ordinances and to get all of them to the town’s website. A motion was made to codify the town’s ordinances and to get a quote from a vendor to assist us in this. Motion by Linda Prehn, 2 nd by Charlene Bukowiecki. The committee was provided with information on AI Data Centers which included what other jurisdictions are doing within the state. Also discussed the likelihood of one coming to Land O’ Lakes and what Vilas County has in place regarding zoning. The committee is grateful for community members bringing this to our attention. The committee agreed to continue to educate ourselves on the issue and to monitor the AI data center’s trends. Public input ; none Next Meeting, July 14, 2026 Adjourn 4:40PM
