TOWN OF LAND O’ LAKES SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING – 2026 BUDGET WORKSHOP Wednesday, October 15, 2025, 10:00 AM I. The meeting was called to order at 10:00 a.m. by Chairman Dan Balog. II. Roll Call: Chairman Dan Balog, Supervisor Kevin Konnow, Supervisor Sam Otterpohl, Clerk-Treasurer Lynn Jolin and 5 guests. III. Pledge of Allegiance. IV. Approve and Revise Agenda: Motion by S. Otterpohl, 2nd by K. Konnow to approve agenda as written. All voted aye. Carried 3-0. V. New Business a.) Review/Approve 2025 Budget Amendments- Motion by S. Otterpohl, 2 nd by K. Konnow to tabled until the November meeting . All voted aye. Carried 3-0. b.) 2026 Budget Preparations: Representatives from the Library Board: Bob Hughes and Stacey Adams, Ambulance Director: Sig Baake, John Barnekow for the Road Work and Master Plan, Planning and Beautification Committee : Debbie Hintz and Cheri Hughes, Fire Chief: Sam Otterpohl, Town Foreman: Roman Sparks Jr presented their budget requests for 2026. Health insurance costs for 2026 will be reviewed at a later meeting. All budget requests are on file in the Clerk’s office. Board members reviewed budget amounts for the 2026 budget. c) Town Board tabled setting the date for the public hearing until the next special meeting on the budget and closed session for employee s compensation and benefits set for October 21st, 2025 at 5pm. Motion by S. Otterpohl, 2nd by K. Konnow to adjourn the meeting at 1:39pm. All voted aye. Carried 3-0.
