Every municipality is urged to adopt the resolution and present it to state legislators. Discussion and possible action on Resolution 2026-04 approving HydroCorp, Inc. contract for commercial and industrial cross connection inspections. The State mandates that all residential, commercial, and industrial cross-connections be inspected by the Village. Residential inspections can be performed by Village staff, but commercial and industrial inspections require a licensed plumber. These inspections have been carried out by HydroCorp Inc. for several years. Inspections, reporting, and management services are becoming more expensive. If the Village agrees to a four-year contract with HydroCorp for the inspection services, they can save money. The Resolution has the proposed contract attached. Motion by Zuleger, second by Streetman, to introduce Resolution 2026-04 approving the contract with HydroCorp for four years to complete the Village’s commercial and industrial cross-connection inspections. Roll call vote was taken. Court-Aye, Falk-Aye, Pleshek-Aye, Staszak-Aye, Streetman-Aye, Zuleger-Aye, and Gehm-Aye. Motion carried unanimously. K3. Discussion and possible action on sewer line located on East Park Street. Recent heavy rains have revealed several leaks in the sewer line located on East Park Street. Rankin presented video footage from a sewer line inspection that identified multiple locations where Village of Bonduel – Village Board Wednesday, April 22, 2026 Page 3 groundwater is entering the sewer system. Staff have already repaired several of the identified issues; however, the line will likely require relining in the future. No funds were budgeted for these repairs in the current year’s budget, but Rankin stated that the line will continue to be monitored and repairs may need to be included in next year’s budget. By consensus, the Board agreed to table the agenda item until more information regarding the repairs is available. K4. Discussion and possible action approving first quarter per diems.
