Village Board Meeting — Minutes

Minutes for Board of Trustee Meeting Tuesday, October 6, 2026 Meeting was called to order, at 6:00 pm, by Village President, William Switalla – Roll Call – Marlene Wepner – present, Renee Switalla - present, Barb Buchholz - present, William Switalla – present, Theresa Gatz – present, David Timm – present, Paul Yaeger – present. Also present were: Joel Yaeger and Jason Hanson Yaeger/Gatz m/s/c to approve the September 15, 2026 regular meeting minutes. W.Switalla/Timm to deviate from agenda as needed. Timm/Buchholz to approve the 2027 snowplowing contract, with Hanson Sanitation, as presented. Roll call vote – all ayes. Yaeger/Buchholz to approve the payout for Joel Yaeger’s sick days. Roll call vote – all ayes. R.Switalla/Buchholz to approve the transfer of $200,000 from LGIP to the General account at Associated. Roll call vote – all ayes. R.Switalla/W.Switalla to approve a picnic license for the Wittenberg Historical Society, for $1. Roll call vote – all ayes. Timm/Buchholz to approve the audited bills for $27,040.34 and the interim bills for $70,897.20. Roll call vote – all ayes. Timm/Gatz to approve payment of Invoice 351, for $10,000, to SCEPI for the work they have done on development for the Village. Roll call vote – all ayes. Timm/Gatz to approve the 2027 insurance renewal, with League of WI Municipalities, for a total of $41,359. Roll call vote – all ayes Yaeger/Buchholz to approve becoming a member of the WI Retirement System, as of 1/1/2027. Roll call vote – all ayes. Wepner/Buchholz m/s/c to adjourn at 7:35pm.
