Village Board Meeting — Minutes

Minutes for Board of Trustee Meeting Tuesday, April 21, 2026 Meeting was called to order, at 6:10 pm, by Village President, William Switalla – Roll Call – Marlene Wepner – absent, Renee Switalla - present, Barb Buchholz - present, William Switalla – present, Theresa Gatz – present, David Timm – absent, Paul Yaeger – present. Also present: Mary Jo Miller (Martenson & Eisele), Kristen-Fish Peterson (Redevelopment Resources). Yaeger/Buchholz m/s/c to approve the April 7, 2026 regular meeting minutes. W.Switalla/Buchholz m/s/c to deviate from agenda as needed. Three Request for Proposals were submitted to the board, for consideration in carrying out the CDBG grant the Village was awarded to update our: Comprehensive Plan, CORP update and put together a Master Plan for Washington Park. These RFP’s were scored based on many factors. Yaeger/Buchholz to accept the RFP from Martenson & Eisele, who scored the highest total. Roll call vote – all ayes. Gatz/Buchholz to accept a pay request #2 from Potrykus Construction for $61,457.33. Roll call vote – all ayes. Gatz/R.Switalla to approve the audited bills for $67,936.03 and the interim bills for $6,857.10. Roll call vote – all ayes. Gatz/Buchholz m/s/c to adjourn at 7:25pm.
