Village Meeting — Minutes

Minutes for Board of Trustee Meeting Tuesday, August 20, 2024 Meeting was called to order, at 6:03 pm by Village President, William Switalla – Roll Call – Marlene Wepner – present, Tanya Lange- absent, Barb Buchholz - present, William Switalla – present, Theresa Gatz – present, David Timm – present, Paul Yaeger – present. Also present: Lee Pulaski, Renee Switalla, Erik & Nikki Steigerwald, Veronica Leonard, Ryan Nueske and Cassie Wierzba. Buchholz/Wepner m/s/c to approve the August 6, 2024 regular meeting minutes. Buchholz/Yaeger m/s/c to deviate from agenda as needed. Yaeger/Buchholz m/s/c to accept the resignation of Tanya Lange, as a member of the Village Board. Yaeger/Wepner to appoint Renee Switalla to the remainder of the open Village Board seat. Roll call vote – all ayes, with W.Switalla abstaining. Buchholz/Yaeger to approve Resolution 2024-11 to vacate the Summit Street alley, that runs through Ryan Nueske’s property. Roll call vote – all ayes. R.Switalla/Buchholz to approve a Class A beverage license for True North #851 and #852. Roll call vote – all ayes. R.Switalla/Gatz to approve a Cigarette license for True North #851 and True North #852. Roll call vote – all ayes. Timm/Yaeger to approve the audited bills for $55,921.99, and the interim bills for $620.16. Roll call vote – all ayes. Timm/Wepner to approve a quote, from Jet Black, to reseal the Community Center parking lot, for $5,150.00. Roll call vote – all ayes. Gatz/Buchholz m/s/c to adjourn at 7:16 pm.
