Village Meeting — Minutes

Minutes for Board of Trustee Meeting Tuesday, July 2, 2024 Meeting was called to order, at 6:00 pm by Village President, William Switalla – Roll Call – Marlene Wepner – present, Tanya Lange- absent, Barb Buchholz - present, William Switalla – present, Theresa Gatz – present, David Timm – present, Paul Yaeger – present. Also present: Ryan Nueske Wepner/Timm m/s/c to approve the June 18, 2024 regular meeting minutes. Switalla/Yaeger m/s/c to deviate from the agenda as needed. Yaeger/Gatz to approve moving forward with the vacation of an alley off Summit, with all costs being paid by the property owner. Roll call vote – all ayes. Buchholz/Gatz to approve Resolution 2024-10 to renew the TID CD for one year. Roll call vote – all ayes Timm/Buchholz to approve the audited bills for $25,896.83, and the interim bills for $19,964.44. Roll call vote – all ayes. Gatz/Buchholz to order a survey for the future dog park property off Meisner and Pioneer. Roll call vote – all ayes. Gatz/Wepner to change the speed limit on Home Street to 25 mph. Timm/Buchholz to cancel the existing business park listing contract. Roll call vote – all ayes. Timm/Yaeger to approve business park listing contracts for Freedom Way and Liberty Drive, in TID#4, with Smart Move Realty. Roll call vote – all ayes. Yaeger/Buchholz to go into closed (at 7:15) for 19.85(1)(c) personnel at 7:15. Roll call vote – all ayes. Yaeger/Buchholz to reconvene into open, (at 7:25) to ratify decisions made in closed.
