Minutes for Board of Trustee Meeting Tuesday, June 4, 2024 Meeting was called to order, at 6:00 pm by Village President, William Switalla – Roll Call – Marlene Wepner (arrived 6:15) – present, Tanya Lange (arrived 6:10) – present, Barb Buchholz - present, William Switalla – present, Theresa Gatz – present, David Timm – present, Paul Yaeger – present. Also present: Sharon Beversdorf Yaeger/Gatz m/s/c to approve the May 21, 2024 regular meeting minutes. Switalla/Timm m/s/c to deviate from the agenda as needed. Switalla/Buchholz to approve Resolution 2024-08 for the yearly CMAR report. Roll call vote – all ayes Lange/Yaeger to approve Resolution 2024-09 to transfer $200,000 from the LGIP account to general checki ng at Associated. Roll call vote – all ayes. Lange/Wepner to approve Class A Liquor Licenses to: Wagner Shell, Wittenberg Shell & Hometow n Grocers. Roll call vote – all ayes. Buchholz/Wepner to approve Class B Liquor License to T & C Lanes. Roll call vote – 6 ayes with Lange abstaining. Lange/Wepner to approve Cigarette Licenses to Wagner Shell & Wittenberg Shell. Roll call vote – all ayes. Timm/Buchholz to approve the audited bills for $24,724.16. Roll call vote – all ayes. Gatz/Lange to approve the WPS easement on Liberty Drive. Roll call vote – all ayes. Yaeger/Lange to go into closed under 19.85(1)(c) for personnel, at 7:05pm. Roll call vote – all ayes. Buchholz/Yaeger to reconvene into open at 7:51pm. Roll call – all ayes. Yaeger/Buchholz to give Joel a new position as Superintendent of Public Works and add him to the insurance. Roll call vote – all ayes. Yaeger/Buchholz to hire 2 full time people to learn the public works job and back- up Joel. Roll call vote – all ayes. Lange/Wepner m/s/c to adjourn at 8:05 pm.
