Village Meeting — Minutes

Minutes for Board of Trustee Meeting Tuesday, May 7, 2024 Meeting was called to order, at 6:05pm, following the Public Hearing, by Village President, William Switalla – Roll Call – Marlene Wepner – present, Tanya Lange – present, Barb Buchholz - present, William Switalla – present, Theresa Gatz – present, David Timm – present, Paul Yaeger – present. Also present: Chris Lange, Harry Allen from Ehler’s and Mary Jo Miller from Martenson & Eisele. Yaeger/Buchholz m/s/c to approve the April 16, 2024 regular meeting minutes, and the April 16, 2024 special board meeting minutes. Switalla/Yaeger m/s/c to deviate from agenda as necessary. Lange/Timm to approve Resolution 2024-06 to create Tax Incremental District #4. Roll call vote – all ayes. Gatz/Lange to approve a quote, from Martenson & Eisele, for engineering the needed infrastructure in TID#4 for $96,500. Roll call vote – all ayes. Gatz/Buchholz to approve a quote from Pro-Paving to fill in the curb on Vinal St. by the Pond Park basketball court, for $2,850, contingent on the curb not already being in the sidewalk project plans by Martenson & Eisele. Roll call vote – 4 ayes, with Lange, Switalla and Timm voting no. Motion passed. Lange/Gatz to approve a picnic license for the FFA Corn Roast. Roll call vote – all ayes. Lange/Gatz to approve a picnic license for the Community Days. Roll call vote – all ayes Lange/Gatz to approve Ordinance 2024-01 to adopt the revised Floodplain Ordinance. Roll call vote – all ayes. Timm/Buchholz to approve the interim bills for $17,642.09, and the audited bills for $4,901.99. Roll call vote – all ayes. Timm/Wepner to approve an $80,000 Revolving Loan to Potrykus Properties for 12 years at 3%. Roll call vote – all ayes. Buchholz/Lange to approve quote from American Fence, for new gates at the Baseball Field, for $3,220. Roll call vote – all ayes. Gatz/Buchholz m/s/c to adjourn at 7:50 pm.
