Village Meeting — Minutes

Minutes for Special Board of Trustee Meeting Tuesday, April 16, 2024 Meeting called to order at 6:12 following the Plan Commission Public Hearing, by Village President, William Switalla – Roll Call – Marlene Wepner - present, Tanya Lange – present, Barb Buchholz– present, Bill Switalla – present, Theresa Gatz – absent,, David Timm – present and Paul Yaeger – present. Switalla/Buchholz m/s/c to appoint Paul Yaeger as Acting President for all future meetings in the absence of the President. Switalla/:Yaeger m/s/c to schedule the regular Board meetings for the first and third Tuesday of each month, at 6:00PM, and if the meeting falls on a holiday, the meeting would be held on Tuesday in the same week. Switalla/Buchholz m/s/c to designate Associated Bank, Banner Bank, CoVantage CU and the Local Government Investment Pool as public depositories. Switalla/Lange m/s/c to appoint Paul Payant as the Village Attorney. Switalla/Wepner m/s/c to authorize as check and document signatories the Village President, Village Clerk/Treasurer, with Paul Yaeger in the Presidents absence. Switalla/Buchholz m/s/c that all committee appointments will remain as they are at this time, for the following Village Committees: Board of Zoning Appeals, Business Park Management Committee, Board of Review, Planning Commission, Community Development Corporation, Extraterritorial Zoning Commission and the Revolving Loan Committee. Switalla/Timm m/s/c to approve the following Committee appointments: Bonds, Lic enses and Ordinances-Tanya Lange; Finance Committee-David Timm; Personnel Committee-Paul Yaeger; Planning Commission- David Timm; Police, Fire and Ambulance-Marlene Wepner; Recreation and Parks Committee-Barb Buchholz; Solid Waste-Theresa Gatz; Streets, Sidewalks and Public Property-Theresa Gatz; Water and Sewer Committee-Barb Buchholz. Business Park-Paul Yaeger; Chamber Liaison-Barb Buchholz; Revolving Loan Fund-William Switalla; Library Board Liaison-Sharon Beversdorf; and Board of Review-Sharon Beversdorf.
