Minutes 1. The March 12, 2024, meeting was called to order by Chairman Wuest at 6:00 p.m. Present: Wuest, Reabe, Triemstra, Rather, Clerk Morris, Absent: Pettack and Treasurer Toney 2. Pledge of Allegiance was said by all in attendance. 3. The minutes of the February 13, 2024, meeting were approved by a M/S Reabe/Rather. 4. Monthly Financial Review: a. Treasurer’s report – Summary of last month’s financial statements. Toney was absent because of a family occasion. b. Clerk’s report – Budget report (monthly) expenses and revenues. Clerk reported that the audit report drafts have received and signed and returned. The tax collection by the town is completed, and settlement was done in accordance with the totals. We’re still trying to complete the documentation with the federal government and the state regarding the payments we receive from them with the new bank account. We’re working on the April 2 election with 10 different ballot styles. 5. Library report – Christine Lyon, Director The library report was received and read. 6. Building Inspector report – Building Permits report was received and read. 7. Fire Commission report – report on monthly meetings 8. County Board Supervisor Report – Harley Reabe: County Board updated the ADVOCAP in relation to Green Lake County. Resolutions: to approve to use of ARPA funds to update the communication tower, and ARPA was designated for aa maximum of $35,000.00 for the design of the future highway facility. Increase the differential for the communication department, with accommodations for part-time to full-time employees in SO. All salaries for the elected official positions for the next four years were approved. 9. Chairperson Reports a. Road Report – Mike Wuest We are trimming Northwest Road. Wuest announced that the annual meeting will be April 16 at 6:00, with Open Book on May 13, 2024 from 9 a.m. and 1 – 4:30 p.m. Board of Review will be held on 6-24-24. 10. Recycling Report – Harley Reabe. Reabe reported that the Feb recycling was not as busy, with a little over 8 ton. They are starting to have brush and yard waste deposited. 11. Weed Commissioner Report No report 12. Consideration and Action: Resolution 2024-01 Discontinuation of undeveloped public Road (South Lawson Dr. CSM 209 V1 Sec 20) M/S Wuest/Rather to approve Resolution 2024-01: Discontinuation of undeveloped public Road (South Lawson Dr., CSM 209 V1 Sec 20). Wuest: yes; Rather: yes; Triemstra: yes; Reabe: yes. Motion 4-0 1 absent. 13. Next Board Meeting – April 9, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. 16.
