Town Board Special meeting 2.19.26 — Minutes

Town of Springwater - Special Meeting February 19, 2026 Meeting called to order at 5:15 p.m. Present C/Hernandez, S/Baitinger, S/Johnson Donation by Jacob Zinecker of $200.00 to the Town of Springwater for the Special Meeting. Jacob Zinecker requested this special meeting to inform the Board he has made an offer to purchase Mr. Ed’s. This offer is contingent on the Board's approval of Darlene Apps releasing her “Class B” liquor license and that Reserve license would be available for purchase. Zinecker stated he would then request that “Class B” license for Wilson Lake Campground. His plan is to continue to operate Mr. Ed’s with a beer and wine license in the future. The Board addressed the concerns with the noise complaints previously received from the campground. Zinecker stated there have not been any recent complaints and the new building is off the lake so the noise would not carry as it does now. The Board shared that a license is something that can be revoked if there are issues/concerns. Motion by S/Johnson, Second by S/Baitinger to approve the sale of the Reserve “Class B” Liquor license for $10,000.00, upon the sale of Mr. Ed’s and the relinquishment of that license by Darlene Apps, to Jacob Zinecker to subsequently be issued at Wilson Lake Campground.
