Town Board Meeting December 2025 — Minutes

Town of Springwater December 8, 2025 Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. Present C/Hernandez, S/Baitinger, S/Johnson Motion by S/Baitinger, Second by S/Johnson to accept the agenda as posted. Motion carried. Motion by S/Baitinger, Second by S/Johnson to approve the November 10, 2025 Regular meeting and November 10, 2025 Budget meeting minutes. Motion carried. Clerk’s Report: Motion by S/Baitinger, Second by S/Johnson to approve checks 22947-22965 for a total of $15,155.25. Motion carried. Certified Survey Maps for Mentig, Koel, and Merryfield approved and signed. After review by Attorney Olson and discussion, the Board decided not to move forward with the Fire Code and Inspection Ordinance presented by Saxeville-Springwater Fire Department. C/Hernandez reported DeeDee Kurth purchased a new refrigerator for the rental home at the Covered Bridge Park. The Board approved putting out the port-a-potty on Pine Lake for the ice fishing season starting on January 1, 2026. Motion by S/Johnson, second by S/Baitinger to suspend Mobile Home Parking Permit 2025-2. Motion carried. Motion by S/Baitinger, second by S/Johnson to approve the 2026-2027 election workers presented. Motion carried. Violations read: Tina Meyer - shed being used for living quarters and Mark Schuelke - sanitary permit. Future agenda items: W. Round Lake Road, walk-in lake access sites in 2026, Grant for Reserve Class B liquor license Ordinance.
