Town Board Meeting November 2025 — Minutes

Town of Springwater November 10, 2025 Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. Present C/Hernandez, S/Baitinger, S/Johnson Motion by S/Baitinger, Second by S/Johnson to accept the agenda as posted. Motion carried. Motion by S/Baitinger, Second by S/Johnson to approve the October 13, 2025 and November 3 (Budget Workshop) minutes. Motion carried. Clerk’s Report: Motion by S/Baitinger, Second by S/Johnson to approve checks 22926-22946 for a total of $12,521.12. Motion carried. Motion by S/Baitinger, Second by S/Johnson to approve the purchase of a vacuum cleaner up to $200. Motion carried. Road Report: Ken started wiping down the walls in the Hall to get rid of the mold problem. Mike will coordinate the brushing on 19th with the County. Motion by S/Baitinger, Second by S/Johnson to approve $2000 reimbursement to Pine Lake and Gilbert Lake Associations for their DASH treatments. Motion carried. Motion by S/Johnson, second by S/Baitinger to allow the transfer of Mr. Ed’s liquor license upon sale of business to new owner and the new owner will be able to apply for the Economic Development Grant to offset the $10,000 license fee. Motion carried. Motion by S/Baitinger, second by S/Johnson to approve the Kurth’s grandson to reside in the Covered Bridge House for up to 8 months. Motion carried. Certified Survey Map for Yeska Bros. Farms approved and signed. Violations read: cutting notices for Michael Cervinka. Fire Code and Inspection Ordinance reviewed by Board. Concerns with Section 4, #2 and #3 being intrusive and overstepping. The clerk will send it to Attorney Olson for review. Future agenda items: W. Round Lake Road, walk-in lake access sites in 2026.
