Town Board Meeting October 2025 — Minutes

Town of Springwater October 13, 2025 Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. Present C/Hernandez, S/Baitinger, S/Johnson Motion by S/Baitinger, Second by S/Johnson to accept the agenda as posted. Motion carried. Motion by S/Baitinger, Second by S/Johnson to approve the Sept. 8, 2025 minutes. Motion carried. Clerk’s Report: Motion by S/Baitinger, Second by S/Johnson to approve checks 22897-22925 for a total of $45,795.48. Motion carried. The Clerk will look into cleaning up the mold in the Hall. The Clerk will have the port-a-potties removed from the park and boat landing. Road Report: Mike graded all gravel roads, starting clearing brush around intersections, Ken will clean up and close down the Covered Bridge Park. Alex Peterson reported for the Saxeville-Springwater FD. Discussed the Fire Code and Inspection Ordinance he would like the Town to adopt. Alex presented the department’s 2026 budget. Motion by S/Baitinger, second by S/Johnson to accept the budget with the Town’s share of $80, 652. Motion carried. Ken Yeska reported for the Wild Rose FD. They also request the Town approve the Fire Code and Inspection Ordinance. Ken presented the 2026 department budget. Motion by S/Baitinger, second by S/Johnson to accept the budget with the Town’s share of $62,792.51. Motion carried. Motion by S/Baitinger, second by S/Johnson to approve Resolution No. 2025-1, A Resolution Designating Waushara County As The Collecting Official For The Issuance of Dog Licenses For the Town of Springwater. Motion approved. Certified Survey Map for Yeska Bros. Farms approved and signed. Violations read: Blumer and Hoeft cutting notices, Verboomen unpermitted patio, Ambacher and Baumgart POWTS inspection. Future agenda items: W. Round Lake Road, walk-in lake access sites in 2026. Next meeting: Budget workshop - November 3, 2025 6:00pm Regular meeting - November 10, 2025 at 7:00pm Motion by S/Baitinger, Second by S/Johnson to adjourn the meeting at 7:42 pm Motion carried.
