Town Board Meeting September 2025 — Minutes

Town of Springwater September, 2025 Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. Present C/Hernandez, S/Baitinger, S/Johnson Motion by S/Baitinger, Second by S/Johnson to accept the agenda as posted. Motion carried. Motion by S/Baitinger, Second by S/Johnson to approve the August 11, 2025 minutes. Motion carried. Public Comments: William Ringenoldus questioned if there would be more discussion regarding the Lake Access sites in 2025. Clerks Report: Motion by S/Baitinger, Second by S/Johnson to approve checks 22878-22896 for a total of $87,298.70. Motion carried. Discussed Stanek’s and Nilles requesting to not place a fire number on their property. C/Hernandez will discuss this with the WC Zoning Department. Road Report: Mike graded all gravel roads again along with some shoulder repair. Tree clean-up and patching is on-going. The culvert between Pine Lake and Echo Lake was repaired after being damaged by ACEC. The bridges and guardrails have all been weed wacked. The mowing is complete. It takes about an hour to mow the roads for the Village. Alex Peterson reported for the Saxeville-Springwater FD. Calls are down, chicken bbq was a success, they are looking for additional fundraising ideas. Ken Yeska reported for the Wild Rose FD. Calls are down as well, the floor in the department was epoxied, and they are hosting the WR Car Show on Sept. 20th. Motion by S/Baitinger, Second by S/Johnson to approve the Mobile Home Parking Permit ordinance. Motion carried. The Ordinance will go into effect following the Class 1 posting in the Waushara Argus. Future agenda items: W. Round Lake Road, walk-in lake access sites in 2026.
