Town Board Meeting — Minutes

Town of Springwater Regular Board Meeting March 10, 2025 Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. Present C/Hernandez, S/Baitinger, S/Johnson Motion by S/Baitinger, Second by S/Johnson to accept the agenda. Motion carried. Motion by S/Baitinger, Second by S/Johnson to approve the February 10, 2025 minutes. Motion carried. Members from the audience addressed the Board about the condition of W. Round Lake Road and requested it be paved. Motion by S/Baitinger, Second by S/Johnson to accept checks 22718 to 22748 for a total of $1,963,621.57.00. Motion carried. Treasurer Patti Williams gave an update on Personal Property Tax and the options the Town would have moving forward in 2026. Motion by S/Johnson, Second by S/Baitinger to approve the hiring of Ken Yeska at a rate of $20/hour to mow along the Town roads and other Town related jobs requested. Motion carried. Alex Petersen reported for Saxeville-Springwater Fire Department. They recently attended an Ice Water Rescue training and received a $17,000 grant for EMS equipment. S/Hernandez stated the Town will need to update the Comprehensive Plan in 2028. Future agenda items to include W. Round Lake Road.
