Parks Committee — Minutes

Draft Minutes Parks Committee December 16, 2025 The meeting was called to order at 7:08 pm on December 16, 2025, by committee member Emy Monroe. Present were Emy Monroe, Betty DeBoer, and Scott Cooper. Absent were Justin Brandau and Ben Bockenhauer. Motion by DeBoer/Cooper to Approve agenda passed unanimously Motion by Monroe/DeBoer to defer chair and secretary elections until all members are present at a committee meeting passed unanimously Discussion to get new members up to date on where the committee last left plans and inventory. It was determined that the 2011 PDF plan on the website is not the most up-to-date plan and nor is the inventory within. The latest version of the plan & most recent park inventory will be provided to the committee so that we can proceed with updating the plan and inventory. The committee needs to know if the proposed 2026 budget for parks includes any allocation for improvements or if it is all maintenance. Cooper will provide plan and inventory documents from most recent updates to each. Monroe will obtain budget details. Motion by DeBoer/Cooper to Adjourn at 7:53pm passed unanimously.
