Stormwater Utility — Minutes

Town of Onalaska Stormwater Utility Minutes July 1, 2025 1. The June 3, 2025 Stormwater Utility meeting was Called to order by Paula Przywojski at 7:06 p.m. at the Town of Onaska Town Hall, N5589 Commerce Road, Onalaska, WI. Members present: Paula Przywojski, Emy Monroe, and Dale Shefelbine. Marc Schultz was absent. Mary Rinehart, Administrator-Clerk-treasurer was also present. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. 2. Motion by Monroe/Shefelbine to Approve Agenda. Motion passed unanimously. 3. Motion by Monroe/Shefelbine to Approve minutes from April 7, 2025 meeting. Motion passed unanimously. 4. Motion to Approve bills and finance by Monroe/Shefelbine passed unanimously. 5. Public Comment (3-minute time limit): None. 6. Discussion making recommendation to Town Board relating to Carefree Drive drainage issue: Engineer will work with homeowner to develop a plan proposing an additional berm to keep runoff away from private property, and will bring proposal back to the Utility. No action. 7. Discussion regarding Kramer Road drainage issue: Motion by Monroe/Shefelbine for Engineer to develop a plan and to solicit bids. Motion passed unanimously. 8. Update relating to stormwater drainage issue within Sobkowiak Road Park: Town crew will be completing the project this summer. 9. Discussion making recommendation to Town Board relating to Johnson Coulee Road culvert issue: No action. 10. Discussion making recommendation to Town Board relating to Apple Valley Road post project drainage issues: The town will continue to submit grant applications for funding of roadway reconstruction. The Engineer advised that much of the issues will be resolved when funding is secured and roadway is rebuilt. 11. Discussion making recommendation to Town Board relating to Apple Valley Road cul-de- sac issues: Engineer will draft a letter to property owner to address permitting issues and damages that have been incurred. 12. Discussion relating to stormwater plan development: No action. 13.
