Stormwater Utility — Minutes

Town of Onalaska Stormwater Utility Minutes June 3, 2025 1. The June 3, 2025 Stormwater Utility meeting was Called to order by Paula Przywojski at 7:00 p.m. at the Town of Onaska Town Hall, N5589 Commerce Road, Onalaska, WI. Members present: Paula Przywojski, Emy Monroe, Marc Schultz, Dale Shefelbine. Mary Rinehart, Administrator-Clerk-treasurer was also present. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. 2. Motion by Monroe/Shefelbine to Approve Agenda. Motion passed unanimously. 3. Motion by Monroe/Schultz to Approve minutes from April 7, 2025 meeting. Motion passed unanimously. 4. Motion to Approve bills and finance by Schultz/Shefelbine passed unanimously. 5. Public Comment (3-minute time limit): None. 6. Discussion to appoint Utility Committee Chairperson: Motion by Monroe/Shefelbine to appoint Przywojski as Committee Chairperson passed unanimously. 7. Discussion making recommendation relating to sweeper repair including but not limited to hydraulic dump door: No action on dump door was taken. Motion by Monroe/Schultz to recommend to Town Board to take the sweeper to Bills Automotive in Holmen for an estimate for repair of air conditioning unit. Motion passed unanimously. 8. Discussion making recommendation relating to stormwater drainage issue within Sobkowiak Road Park: Motion by Monroe/Shefelbine to the Town Board to follow the engineer recommendation to the Town Crew install a berm as designed to divert the drainage into the waterway and away from the woodchipped play area. Motion passed unanimously. 9. Discussion making recommendation relating to Anderson Road culvert issue: No action. Engineer will have report for the July meeting. 10. Discussion making recommendation relating to Thunderbird Culvert issue: No action. Engineer will have report for the July meeting. 11. Discussion relating to stormwater plan development: No action. Committee will work with the Stormwater Engineer at a future meeting. 12.
