Incorporation Celebration Committee Village of French Island Monday, August 3rd, 2026 10:30 AM Location: Village Hall, 2219 Bainbridge St., La Crosse, WI 54603 1) Meeting Called to Order: Meeting Called to Order 10:30 A.M. 2) Roll Call, Approval of Minutes & Verify Public Notice: Present: President Kapanke, Trustee Donahue, Trustee Stolpa, Trustee Davison Also present: Clerk Stahl 3) Business: A. Review and Discuss Incorporation Celebration Celebration Committee discussed several ideas for the Incorporation Celebration included a formal ceremony illustrating the history of French Island, a band or other musical entertainment, a vintage car/ bike show and a possible fireworks show. The Committee also determined that the winner of the Village Art Logo Contest should be announced during the Incorporation Celebration. The Committee identified the next steps as determining the maximum occupancy level at Celebrations on the River, parking availability, access to ADA restrooms during the celebration, researching available band options and determining the various costs. No formal recommendations or motions were made regarding this item of business. 4) Adjournment of Meeting Motion to adjourn by Trustee Davison/Trustee Donahue. Motion carried 4-0 (11:30 A.M.)
