NOTICE OF SPECIAL ELECTION
VILLAGE OF FRENCH ISLAND
JULY 7, 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at an election to be held in the Village of French Island, on
Tuesday, July 7, 2026. The following officers are to be elected:
Office
One (1) Village President for a term to end April 19, 2027
Three (3) Village Trustees for a term to end April 19, 2027
Three (3) Village Trustees for a term to end April 17, 2028
For Candidates
The first day to circulate nomination papers is May 26, 2026, and the final day for filing
nomination papers is 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 12, 2026, in the office of the Village Clerk.
Additional Information
Acceptable Photo ID will be required to vote at this election. If you do not have a photo ID,
you may obtain a free ID for voting from the Division of Motor Vehicles.
