Chairman Fred Stoll called the meeting to order at 6:30 PM. Supervisor Kevin Mackie, Diane
Nelson, Clerk; Amy Eliot, Treasurer, Keith Kesler, Fire Chief; and Mark Johnson and Taylor
Lindsay, Streets Dept also attended. Adam Olson was also present.
Minutes: Kevin motioned, seconded by Fred to approve the minutes of last month ’s board
meeting, motion passed.
Financial Report: The financial report showed: $9,479.53 in checking, $397,231.64 in the general
money market account which includes $184,112.92 in a sub-account dedicated to the town garage,
$441.17 in real estate tax account, $ 2,807.29 in personal property tax account, $18,209.70 in

authorize paying the bills and accepting the treasurer’s report, and the motion passed.
Town Officers Reports: Adam Olson presented the board with a resignation letter from Myron
Olson. Due to his declining health, he feels he no longer has the ability to fulfill the obligations of
the job. Everyone agreed he will be sadly missed. Diane mentioned the bank declined the payroll
for the board this week as it exceeded the maximum allowed for payroll. Reimbursement for
expenses are included, such as mileage for the board, stamps, etc. Fred motioned, seconded by
Kevin, to increase the maximum limit that is allowed for payroll to $15,000. Motion carried.
Road Report: Parking area at the back of the hall was filled with gravel . They’ve been getting
ditches ready for pavement on Birch. A culvert was replaced on 7-mile Rd. The old 350 truck sold
for $8726.
Fire Chief Report: They have had seven medical calls, one mutual aid call, and one alarm in the
last month. Twenty-seven fire inspections were performed . He is still working on getting the air
valve fixed. Their copier is down, seems like an electrical surge as several electronic devises were
lost. Wisconsin legislature has proposed legislation that might help improve firefighter retention.
It would provide up to $500 in a stipend to cover education and training expenses. The town would
need to pass a similar ordinance. Keith will track its progress and keep the board informed. The
Vocational School will be providing a pump operator training class, which we will host. Keith
provided each of the board with a copy of the May 2025 Wisconsin Fire Service Guidebook.
