th at 5:30 to meet to
develop the 2025 budget.
Aluminum Cans Trailer and Recycling: Diane mentioned an idea brought up by Fred Fabian
in the past to collect aluminum cans in a trailer. This would alleviate some of the over -filling
of the recycling bins that we've experienced lately and also helped generate some revenue for
new playground equipment. Fred motioned seconded by Kevin to approve the purchase of a
trailer to use for collecting aluminum cans. Taylor will look on Marketplace to find a used
trailer, preferably around 6x10, with high sidewalls.
Board of Review: The board of review is scheduled for Monday, Oct 14 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm.
Old Business:
Garage Update: The board met on-site to review options for locations. They reviewed where
a pond would go when they need to expand, and what land that left for the garage. The other
option is between the dump and Old Hwy 2. They need elevation maps to aid in the decision.
Diane will get them printed up.
Fire Dept. Water Source: The well has a lot of water. The pump should be upsized from 250
gal/min to 350. This will reduce the size of a storage tank to meet their water needs . Larry
Roecker will be addressing the wiring, and Dahlberg will be providing a new transformer.
Town correspondence was reviewed.
Fred motioned, seconded by Kevin to adjourn to closed session. The meeting was adjourned at 7:50
