Levy Request Information
The board approved requesting a levy in the amount of $290,000.
Due to the current structure of the levy limit worksheet, it is
calculating a levy limit increase of $9,294 over last year’s levy.
However, this amount of levy also includes the additional $80,000
for the garage fund which we’ve requested for the last 2 y ears and
an additional $706 due to new construction.
The PUBLIC HEARING on the PROPOSED BUDGET will be held on
Thursday, November 10, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. at the Brule Town Hall,
5814 S Maple St, Brule, WI.
Immediately following the public hearing, a Special Town Elector
Meeting will be held to approve the 2022 total town tax levy of
$290,000 to be collected in 2023.
