PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE SPECIAL TOWN MEETING The Town Board of Supervisors of the Town of Brule hereby calls a Special Town Meeting pursuant to 60.12 of the Wisconsin Statutes. The time, date, location, and purpose of the Special Town Meeting are as follows: Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. Town Hall, 5820 Maple St, Brule, Wisconsin, 54820 Purpose: The purpose of the Special Town Meeting is to determine whether the Town of Brule shall authorize the Brule Town Board to purchase vacant land located in the Town of Brule , parcel BR-006-00179-01, and described as follows.: A parcel of land located in Section 13, Township 47 North, Range 10 West, Brule Township, Douglas County, Wisconsin being more particularly described as follows: That part of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter (NE ¼ - SW ¼) lying Northerly of railroad right-of-way; & That part of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter (SE ¼ - NW ¼) lying Southerly of the town road known as Old Highway 2 and Northerly of the railroad right-of-way, Town of Brule, Douglas County, Wisconsin. Price: $31,000 for the 20.36 acre parcel Immediately following the Special Town Meeting, the Town Board will convene the regular monthly Town Board Meeting in open session.
