Amnicon Budget Planning and Regular Board Meeting Amnicon Town Hall December 12, 2023 7:00pm Arthur Amys called the meeting to order. All board members present except Dennis Hill. Arthur Amys made a motion to approve the November 9, 2023, regular meeting minutes, Mark Liebaert seconded. Motion carried. Comprehensive Plan Committee – No Report Highway Dept – No report Forestry – No Report Mark Liebaert made a motion to approve the Reclamation Plan for Grube Aggregate. Arthur Amys seconded. Motion carried. Generator – Is set on slab and working on wiring. The sign is up and running. Waiting on the High School for the Logo portion. Arthur Amys made a motion to appoint the Election Board as presented. List is included with these minutes. Mark Liebaert seconded. Motion carried. Mark Liebaert made a motion to renew our membership in the Towns Advocacy Council. Arthur Amys seconded. Motion carried. Arthur Amys made a motion to donate $100 to the Superior Days committee. Mark Liebaert seconded. Motion carried. Douglas County- Mark Liebaert, Whitetail listening event at the Solon Springs Community Center. Old Brule has a meeting about ghost towns. George and Terri Petzold were present and are concerned that senior citizens will suffer a hardship due to us no longer plowing driveways. The board explained that there is still a plan in place for emergency situations and is no different from before. Mark Liebaert made a motion to adjourn, Dennis Hill seconded Adjourned 8:25 pm.
