Amnicon Budget Planning and Regular Board Meeting Amnicon Town Hall November 9, 2023 6:00 pm Arthur Amys called the meeting to order. All board members present. Discussion on budget items and how to appropriate the extra shared revenue funds. Arthur and Gary will meet and split the monies up according to how previous spending has taken place to meet future needs. Arthur Amys made a motion to set the Budget Hearing for Tuesday November 28th at 6:00pm. Dennis Hill seconded. Motion carried. 7:00pm Arthur Amys called the meeting to order. All board members present. Arthur Amys made a motion to approve the October 12, 2023, regular meeting minutes, Dennis Hill seconded. Motion carried. Comprehensive Plan Committee – No Report Highway Dept – Ready for snow all equipment has plows and wings on. Still grading when the moisture is up. Have the new (used) loader in our possession. Repaired the oil leak and fixed the tires that were leaking air. Happy with the purchase. Replaced 1 culvert on Moonshine will need to do the other one in the spring. Forestry – No Report Discussion on purchasing a screener moved to the tabled and will remove form agenda till spring. Generator – Is set on slab and working on wiring. Carl Miller Tabled and will remove from the agenda until Mr. Miller notifies Gary that it needs to be addressed again. Arthur Amys made a motion to approve the reclamation plan for Amnicon County Rd P gravel pit. Mark Liebaert seconded the motion. Motion carried. Douglas County- Mark Liebaert, Childcare grants awarded for daycare centers out in the county. Looking to fill the County Administrator position. The racetrack met their obligations so they will remain operators of the track. Douglas County’s Levy % went down. Mark Liebaert made a motion to adjourn, Dennis Hill seconded Adjourned 8:25 pm.
