Amnicon Regular Board Meeting Amnicon Town Hall October 12, 2023 7:00 pm Arthur Amys called the meeting to order. All board members present, Arthur Amys made a motion to approve the September 14, 2023, regular meeting minutes, Dennis Hill seconded. Motion carried. Comprehensive Plan Committee – No Report Highway Dept – Picked up fencing for fuel tank, slab is poured, sign piers poured, no loader yet, purchased a trailer for $5900, sold the old Case loader for $10,500. Forestry – No Report Discussion on purchasing a screener moved to the November meeting. Generator –48KW Generac Generator is here been working on groundwork for installation. Carl Miller No movement Budget planning meeting 6:00pm on November 9th prior to regular meeting. Arthur Amys made a motion to approve, Mark Liebaert seconded. Motion carried. Douglas County- Mark Liebaert Nemaji River Trail Power Plant, the City of Superiors mayor is still against the project. Not sure how this will affect it moving forward. The county is responsible for a sex offender that needs 24-hour supervision. The racetrack management is in violation of their contract. ECE is getting grants for broadband in the county.
