Amnicon Regular Board Meeting Amnicon Town Hall December 8, 2022 7:00 pm Arthur Amys called the meeting to order. All board members present. Arthur Amys made a motion to approve the November 14, 2022, regular meeting minutes, Dennis Hill seconded. Motion carried. Comprehensive Plan Committee – No Report Highway Dept – Backhoe is still waiting for parts Forestry - Essen has started cutting on the Highway D Project. Place Forestry as an agenda item. Discussion on purchasing a rubber tire roller attachment for the grader will place it on next moths agenda. Set Caucus Date of January 17, 2023, at 6:00 pm. Arthur Amys made a motion to approve, Dennis Hill seconded. Morion carried. Douglas County- Mark Liebaert Superior Days agenda has been revised to include 1% roads through a refund from state sales tax, income tax reciprocity with Minnesota, UWS keeping out of state tuition at the Superior campus, Broadband expansion, Discussion on how to protect town lands from being sold. We need to discuss this with a real estate attorney. We will continue with the discussion at future meetings. Mark Liebaert made a motion to adjourn, Dennis Hill seconded Adjourned 8:20 pm.
