Amnicon Regular Board Meeting, Amnicon Town Hall November 14, 2022 7:00 pm Arthur Amys called the meeting to order. All board members present. Arthur Amys made a motion to approve the October 13, 2022, regular meeting minutes, Dennis Hill seconded. Motion carried. Comprehensive Plan Committee – No Report Highway Dept – No Report Motion by Mark Liebaert to renew Towns Advocacy Council Membership. Dennis Hill seconded. Motion carried. Arthur Amys made a motion to set the Budget Hearing Meeting for November 29 at 6:00 pm, Dennis Hill seconded. Motion carried. Forestry brought back a bid for the Bayfield rd. timber cut added 1 year to length of time to cut. Fornengo bid $27,000. Sappi bid $ 34969.25. Mark Liebaert made a motion to accept the bid from Sappi. For $34,969.25. Dennis Hill seconded. Motion carried. Discussion on correspondence received from the WIsc DOT on a culvert to be replaced on US Hwy 2 in Poplar. Will probably not affect any of our roads. Zoning - Campground Ordinance revisions, Arthur Amys made a motion to recommend the more restrictive plan change, Dennis Hill seconded. Motion carried. Douglas County- Mark Liebaert Carbon Credit is moving forward. Forestry had 1.48 million in timber sales. Building talks with the City of Superior our moving slowly ass to how the city will reimburse the county for use of the building.
