Amnicon Regular Board Meeting, Amnicon Town Hall October 13, 2022 7:00 pm Arthur Amys called the meeting to order. All board members present. Arthur Amys made a motion to approve the September 8, 2022, regular meeting minutes, Dennis Hill seconded. Motion carried. Comprehensive Plan Committee – No Report; Sent Glavan request committee sent reply will discuss at agenda item. Highway Dept - Backhoe is still down parts are on order, Still grading. Getting ready to put winter blades and sander Craig Allen requested to be removed from the agenda until a later date. Discussed continuing snowplowing of driveway. Arthur Amys made a motion to set the rates at $200 for standard and $175 for seniors. Dennis Hill seconded the motion. Motion carried. Add a note about extra plowing. Mark Liebert requested the November meeting be moved to the 9th; Arthur Amys made a motion to approve the change, Dennis Hill seconded the motion. Motion carried. Superior Days is requesting a donation. Arthur Amys made the motion to donate $100, Denniss Hill seconded the motion. Motion carried. Herubin’s requested a renewal of their conditional use permit for the ATV racetrack. Arthur Amys made a motion to approve, Mark Liebaert seconded. Motion carried. Fred Glavin requested a zoning change from R-1-F-1 to A-1, comprehensive plan committee felt it does not comply with the comp plan. Mark Liebaert made a motion to approve as the re is A-1 adjoining the piece. Dennis Hill seconded. Motion carried. Arthur Amys made a motion to set the first budget planning meeting at 6:pm on November 9 prior to the regular meeting. Mark Liebaert seconded. Motion carried. Douglas County- Mark Liebaert: Sales tax may be able to convince the legislature to give us more of our money back instead of going for the increase. Budget process has started. Most departments are at 0% increase, but wages are up 3-5%. Forestry sale are down. Superior days are on February 21-22, 2023 Amnicon Logging bids; Only one company bid County Rd D $60362, 22Rd $110550 Will try to solicit a bid for the Bayfield Rd sale with an added year to harvest.
