Amnicon Regular Board Meeting, Amnicon Town Hall 7:00 pm September 8, 2022 Mark Liebaert called the meeting to order. All board members present except Arthur Amys. Mark Liebaert made a motion to approve the August 11, 2022, regular meeting minutes, Dennis Hill seconded. Motion carried. Comprehensive Plan Committee – No Report; Future zoning requests should be brought before the committee. Highway Dept. - Dry and dusty, no grading being done due to weather conditions. Repaired soft spots on Wentworth Rd and Middle River Rd. Will continue brushing. Old 11 bridge: Open and placed more signage. Spaulding Rd has been crack sealed and center line repainted. Gravel Pit Tavern New owners present to have license transferred to them. Troy and Diane Paquette purchased from Randy Rindahl. Mark Liebaert made a motion to approve the transfer, Dennis Hill seconded. Motion carried. Forrester Logan presented the proposal to set up and administer the 3 logging sales for bids in September. 10% at opening of bids and the remaining 5% after sale is completed. Mark Liebaert made a motion to accept the proposal. Dennis Hill seconded. Motion carried. Douglas County Forestry has an equipment trailer up for bid. Mark Liebaert made a motion to give Arthur Amys the authority to bid a reasonable amount on the trailer, Dennis Hill seconded. Douglas County- Mark Liebaert: Budget process has started.
