Amnicon Regular Board Meeting, Amnicon Town Hall 7:00 pm January 13, 2022 Arthur Amys called the meeting to order. All board members present. Arthur Amys made a motion to approve the January 13, 2022, regular meeting minutes, Mark Liebaert seconded. Motion carried. Comprehensive Plan Committee – We will be setting up a public meeting date in April to disclose proposed changes to the plan. Old 11 bridge: The bid came in $67,000 high, Arthur Amys made a motion to accept the low bid providing the State DOT and the Federal DOT cover their portions of the increase. Dennis Hill seconded. Motion carried. Deatherage Zoning request tabled until March will contact to make sure they attend the meeting. Money that was promised from railroad crossing closure is supposedly coming in the next couple of weeks. Middle River Tavern Transfer of ownership/License Mark Liebaert made a motion to approve Elyssa Smith as the licensee of the Middle River Tavern. Dennis Hill seconded. Motion Carried. Mark Liebaert made a motion to add the Smith Road in its entirety to the ATV/Snowmobile trails. Dennis Hill seconded. Motion carried. Arthur Amys moved to table Board of Review dates to next month, Mark Liebaert seconded. Motion carried. Douglas County- Mark Liebaert: Wascott zoning change is still having issues probably going to court. ECE is looking for a $300,000,000 grant to possibly become an internet provider.
