November 2021 Minutes

Amnicon Regular Board Meeting, Amnicon Town Hall 7:00 pm November11, 2021 Arthur Amys called the meeting to order. All board members present. Arthur Amys made a motion to approve the October 14, 2021, regular meeting minutes, Dennis Hill seconded. Motion carried. Comprehensive Plan Committee – No Report, Discussion on changes to county zoning ordinance tabled until December 9, 2021, to allow us to hear what the county is proposing at the Towns Association meeting. Old 11 bridge: No New Information. Hill / Hill fence issue: Letter mis in the mail. Tyler Kauther: Gary Kane sent the requested information to the lawyer. Racheal Deatherage The board table it for later discussion Gary Kane will let her know. Gary Kane Gary is compiling a list will be presented to appoint at the December meeting. Budget Hearing: Arthur Amys made a motion to have it at 6:00pm on November 23,2021, Mark Liebaert seconded. Motion carried. Ceiling panels for the hall Gary Kane is still working on it. Douglas County- Mark Liebaert: Redistricting was approved. They are trying to get the word out that there is a loan program for major home repairs available to most residents (with income qualification) Does not need to be paid back until the home is sold. Forestry has found Oak Wilt in the county this means more restrictions on selling oak. They are still working on possibly attaining carbon credit sell off from our forests but need to way the cost verses reward. Arthur Amys moved to adjourned, Dennis Hill seconded.
