Jackman Douglas County 7417 County Road E Hawthorne, WI 54873 RE: LSSIP Application – Structure V160071 Dear Jason J. Jackman, Congratulations! This letter confirms funding for your project on structure V160071 from the Local Small Structure Improvement Program (LSSIP) 2026-2027 Program Cycle. LSSIP is a reimbursement program administered by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) that provides funding to local Wisconsin municipalities to improve deteriorating small structure crossings. LSSIP funding covers up to 90% of the total eligible project costs via reimbursement, with the remaining 10% of costs to be funded by the political subdivision where the work is performed. Your project was one of 101 projects selected in Wisconsin for funding during the LSSIP 2026- 2027 Program Cycle. Your awarded funding amount is $684,000.00. Please note, WisDOT reimbursement to Douglas County will be limited to a maximum of ninety percent (90%) of eligible project costs or the $684,000.00 funding limit approved for the project, whichever is less. It is important that you do not incur any project costs until receipt of your signed State Municipal Project Agreement (SMA) from WisDOT. LSSIP SMAs are anticipated to be sent to sponsors in Fall 2026. I greatly appreciate your commitment to providing a quality transportation system that promotes public safety and economic development.
